If I may generalise from my personal experiences, educators usually do not think too much of the
Today paper. Most of the time, anyway, I do not have convenient access to it and prefer to get my news from ST Interactive and elsewhere. Today, however, was different. I found in my living room a copy of
Today left by my father-in-law, and snuck in some reading of it while playing with baby Penny. Interestingly, I felt myself being rather drawn to some of the articles, and so here they are--a few news snippets that keep us busy folks up to date (a
little more up to date?) with what's going on. (What was really amusing was Penny's reaction to my divided attention. She stepped all over the paper and finally took it up and tried to destroy it. :)

Straits Times Interactive as well. Make use of the subscription you enjoy as a student in ACJC. The little you pick up each day from the papers will probably go a long way in giving you "ex" and "ev" points in your essays and AQ answers. Remember also the 3 articles a week. They really do help. Press on in your revision as you run courageously the final lap of this year!
